I guess that's the problem with getting into games so late - when you try the newest take on ____ genre first, the originals that inspired them can seem derivative

Don't be fooled, my 7 year old plays this game, if you know the rules very well then you can help guide them

He likes it a little less than Caverna because he enjoys the mining in Caverna, and I liked it a little better than Caverna

There is a one-player option that I have not explored, but it looks like it would be a good way to play if no one else is available
