Our Review/Thoughts

I did have to go to the hardware store to get a facet connection that would fit the connector

I've used pur, brita, and other no name brands

I like that the pitcher is bigger than the Brita I was using, and you can empty it to the bottom without worrying that the filter will dry out (as with Brita)

Love it Pros:- functions as advertized (removes the chemical taste in my tap water)- pitcher is surprisingly sturdy and functional as a water pitcher- - includes a swivel flap at the spout that automatically opens when pouring and closes when finished- special connector/adaptor (included) installed on the kitchen faucet very easily- each filter is good for 50 gallons, available online for about $11 each (including shipping) when ordered in quantity of 3- - which means the cost is about 22 cents per gallon of filtered water- pitcher fills with filtered water (1/2 gallon) in less than a minuteCons:- pitcher is a little sloppy when full, need to be careful when removing from refrigerator to keep from spilling- pitcher is not machine-washable, and pitcher lid is not supposed to be submerged in soapy water (wipe with plain water or vinegar solution) It works very good

Fine Tastes Great Great filtration, but the quick coupling becomes slower and more difficult over time; This is my second pitcher

Had a Brita filtration pitcher and the water tasted like crap
