Gameplay is fairly basic, the comparisons to arkham horror are justified
I find the game moves very smoothly once you get the rules down, there will be some referencing of the rules the first couple of times through as you try out new powers and need to understand how they are activated and used
The secrecy mechanic is fantastic, and the search mechanic is simple but very balanced
r to sense your presence each turn, Grace represents your health and how much damage you can take in battle
One thing I do wish it had was some more descriptor thematic text that can be found in other games, but if you know the game well and can read the cards quickly, you can create your own thematic short blurb when a card is pulled
Each location is only allowed to have four blights on it, once a fifth is drawn for the current location it is transferred to the Monastery and when there are five blights in the Monastery, the heroes immediately lose the game
