They work very nicely hooked directly into a new Sony turntable
While a minor thing, and not even close to the reason I chose the 1280T's, but I wasn't a fan of the green theme of the CR'3
Friendly sounding, good bass for what they are, having the remote is awesome and kinda hard to find for some reason in a powered bookshelf speaker
I did find the grills muffled the sound a bit more than I'd have liked, but it's not the end of the world all things considered
I also like the front cover of the 1280T's
The soundstage is so amazing and all instruments sound distinct when playing music
