The microphones (both of them) are exposed so that they are not affected
Overall, this is a great and simple case

Usually with off name brands, I'm always a little skeptical on how I should approach their cases
There is also added materials on all four corners to provide additional drop protection, should that issue ever arise
The lip of the case extends out a little over the screen so in the event it fell face down it would be protected semi well
