I found that you can take meat directly from the freezer to the water oven

When I received this machine, I did a little research because I've never cooked with a Sous Vide water oven

I have a Food Saver, so I was easily able to put my vegetables in bags, and I understand that I can use a Ziploc bag as well, but I feel that for the price, the manual needs a complete upgrade and there should be a starter set of bags

I purchased this Gourmia GSV900 Sous Vide Self container water oven

I am keeping the immersion type units but returning this unit I’m new at the whole sous vide process but was excited about trying something different

It did take the oven a long time to get to temperature for the vegetables - almost one full hour to reach 185 degrees
