I called customer service, and then we emailed back and forth and the woman had to ask her manager what to do about my case being my warranty was up

Long story short, they didn't have the original DXR-5 in stock, so I got a free upgrade to a DXR-5+ all free of charge! (well I paid $5 to send back the non working unit, no big deal) It doesn't have the fancy features, but we didn't want that

We used the unit for almost a year and started to have an issue with the picture quality

at our already slow wifi slowed to an unusable crawl when the monitor was on, we started looking for a monitor that didn't operate at the same frequency as our home wifi

4ghz device would crowd the bandwith and REDUCE the already slow internet

Infant Optics support quickly diagnosed the problem and had replacement unit sent out
