Our Review/Thoughts

For most amateurs and semi-pros it strikes a nice balance between cost and stability while still being easy to carry with you

While the choice of which is best is a personal preference I find the twist-type (like the other brand has) may not always lock fully tight, which can cause the leg to slip

Having been frustrated by the cheapie tripods I bought to save money a few months ago I bought one of the top selling models from Ravelli, based primarily on price

I have two tripods, one is a Manfrotto

I love the leg locks and the ball head is quite smooth

All of that well made aluminum is not light, however, and the Manfrotto can be a bit of a shock when you first pick it up
