You will need a different switch to run the light, the one included stays on and will drain your battery

How ever the light is not to be submerged

And also I've had many different brands of the cheap China made led bars and always when they claim to be a spot pattern they end up being more a flood, these however are just as they said a spot and they actually reach fairly far
