I personally, have lost three cables like that

I can dangle the phone from the cable without it dissconnecting (holding still / not moving about) The cable is of decent quality and is a flat ribbon type cable with a flexible rubberized coating

Amazing what a difference charging with this magnetic connector vs having to plug my phone in all the time

I use it with the original Lightning cable that came with my phone and it works great

Just connect this lighting adapter connector to the original charging cord and boom, magnetic charger

Be aware that this is the connector/adapter only but it works with the apple charging cord
