Our Review/Thoughts

From a man named Baghead whose hidden face is as mysterious as the journey he's on and the Five who will do anything to stop him, to a pyromaniac psychotic killer named Teddy who sees the new world as his own personal playground, to a tough young girl named Izzy and her protectors Erin and The Squirrelman, to the ultra mysterious Father and many more, the characters are each wonderfully unique and totally juicy! (Especially the zombies

My problrm with that is that she is much older

They built real, living, breathing humans out of words, then let those humans interact with the world

But The Scattered and the Dead is not like any of those post-apocalyptic zombie stories

As animals we would instinctively not step where we couldn't see

If you're already a fan, and have read the other books, then this is a must read! There is something about how the authors construct the book to feel like journal entries and undeniable emotional bonds you develop for many of the characters makes me want this series to never end
