The design and angled resting position on my desks are perfect
The design gives this charger quite a large footprint on my desk, and it takes up quite a bit of tabletop real estate, which limits placement
I have other chargers that work, so do not believe it is the phone
UPDATE Sept 19: After reading my review the seller contacted me and said I might have received an older version
However, they both failed within 2 months of use
just a little too big, taking too much space at night stand
